Created for our themed biennial Bead Festivals, our design packs are intended to inspire you, to take your first steps into design.
Images show examples of how the trustees interpreted the theme of the day. Each pack contains several patterns, which have been kindly donated to the BWG by the designers. All of which we hope will help to inspire you.
* Beaded Bead with optional paddle fringes, shown as a necklace by Sylvia Fairhurst. The same design is used to make a cuff, see image.
* Small tassel from the Swat Valley by Elizabeth Andrews, shown single and tiered. The technique also makes a gorgeous necklace - see image by Sue Maguire.
* Chevron braid with branched tassel fringe by Liz Thornton.
Several additional stylised charted design panels of various sizes:
*3 bead Netting charts x 20 including:
* Geometric
* Animals - birds, cattle & elephants
* People
The charts can be used as they are, or can be made into bags, wall hangings, bracelets or whatever your imagination suggests to you.
Instructions for 3 bead Netting complete the contents.
